Methodology: how we check information
This page explains how we prepare each guide and how we check the information before publishing it.
What this guide does
Marrakech Love is an independent editorial guide to deciding what to see in Marrakech, how to plan your days and which day trip suits each stay. We don't sell activities, handle bookings, earn commissions or publish ads.
How we recommend
- We don't link to specific activities: we explain which formats exist, who each one suits and what to check in any listing before booking.
- No provider pays to appear or influences the order: we sort by the time you need and the type of traveller.
- What we can't check isn't presented as fact.
How we check practical information
- Opening hours, access, distances and warnings are published with their source and the date they were checked.
- We prefer official sources: UNESCO, the official websites of the monuments, Marrakech's official tourism guide and government travel advice.
- Where there's no official source, we use reference works such as Wikipedia or OpenStreetMap route calculations, and this is shown in each guide's list of sources.
- The sources consulted are listed at the end of each guide.
How it's written
The texts are prepared with the help of artificial intelligence tools and checked against the cited sources before publication. The English version is translated from the Spanish guide and has not yet been reviewed by a native speaker. Each guide shows the date of its last review.
What we don't publish
- Prices: they change and each provider sets them.
- Star ratings, review counts, places left or urgency messages.
- Opinions on experiences or visits we haven't made.
- Photos of a specific activity or business: each image shows the place or the type of space its section is about, with a caption, author and licence. If we don't have a relevant photo with checked rights, the section goes without one.
